G.V Prakash Kumar playing the lead role of Balu which was originally played by Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. Shalini Pandey is roped in to play the female lead in the role of Mahalakshmi which was played by Tamannah in the Telugu version.
Early in 2017, G.V Prakash signed on the Tamil remake and Sukumar, who directed the original signed up to produce the Tamil version. Tamannah was first approached to reprise her role but she declined the offer. After considering actors like Hebah Patel, Lavanya Tripathi and Sayyesha Sehgal the offer finally went to Shalini Pandey who shot to fame after Telugu cult hit Arjun Reddy.

The story is about a studious Balu and his innocent cousin Mahalakshmi who comes to his home from a village. Balu and Mahalakshmi go to the same Engineering college where Balu has a great reputation. Mahalakshmi takes Balu’s help in studies and eventually falls in love with him. With various twists in the story, how did the couple finally get together forms the rest of the story.
Coming to the cast of the film Shivani Patel, senior actor Nasser, Jayachitra, Rekha, Manobala, Thalaivasal Vijay, R.V. Udayakumar, Rajeev Bhaskaran, R.V Udaykumar, Jayasurya, and Faizan are in supporting roles.
Coming to the crew of the film, The movie is produced by Sukumar and Bhuvana Chandramouli under their production banners Creative Cinemas NY and NJ Entertainment respectively.
The story is written by Sukumar and the music is by G.V Prakash Kumar himself. The cinematography of the movie is handled by Ganesh Rajavelu and the editing is done by Mu. Kasi Viswanathan.

Telling a beautiful love story, director M.M Chandramouli does a great job in replicating the magic of the original movie 100% love. Starring G.V. Prakash and Shalini Pandey, 100% Kadhal is one beautiful story with heart-filling performances.
G.V. Prakash did a job with this acting and his music. He is great asset to the film. His music gives you that feel-good vibe all over the film. And his acting is also great and is well supported by Shalini Pandey.
If you have watched the original, you will know that this is a story about two youngsters, who are cousins. They get together through studies and develop a relationship with each other. How their life takes turns up and down and what happens between them is the story.
It is evident that this movie catered to teenagers. But people from all age groups can enjoy this movie. It is a perfect family entertainer. Do check out this movie this festive season with your friends and family.
