The release date for Akhanda has not been confirmed yet. However, recently while interacting with media, director Boyapati Srinu has revealed that they have not locked the release date for Akhanda & will decide once the situation is normal and safe.

Hopefully, Akhanda will be released by December 2021. We will update the release date right here as soon as the makers confirm it officially.

Akhanda Release – Theatres or OTT?

The makers of the film Akhanda are waiting to release the film once the situation is safe. So, the OTT release is not an option & Akhanda will be definitely released in theatres. The release date will be based on the COVID-19 situation, and let’s hope it doesn’t get worse. In case it happens then makers might go for OTT release. But, as of now, they are planning to release Akhanda in theatres only.

It’s a known fact that Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role in Akhanda. Along with him, Pragya Jaiswal and Srikanth will play other important roles in this film. Updating the audience on film, the director Boyapati also revealed in a media interaction that Akhanda’s filming is almost completed except for a song, small patchwork, and the climax. Reportedly, the film’s team is on the hunt for locations for the climax shoot.
