The critics extolled Farrant’s performance, and the fans were eager for its sequel.

Alex Rider Season 1 is officially adopted from Anthony Horowitz’s famous novel series coming with the same name. It follows Otto Farrant, a teenager who is recruited as a spy to infiltrate the remotest locations. With the first instalment wrapping up last year, the fans were craving Alex Rider Season 2. Season 1 garnered incredible success. Finally, the creators renewed the series for one more season.

Alex Rider Season 2 was confirmed back in November 2020. However, like many other shows, the Alex Rider team also had to bear the evil effects of the covid-19 pandemic. The schedules got delayed due to lockdown in several parts of the world and ultimately the makers had to postpone the production work.

The official release date of Alex Rider Season 2 is still under the wraps. However, with things going back to normal, we can expect the new season anytime in 2022.
