Narappa is the Telugu remake of a Tamil blockbuster Asuran, written and directed by Vetrimaaran. The movie was released in 2019 and was an instant hit. Not long after the release, Srikanth Addala announced that he would be directing the Telugu version of the movie and the expectations only crept upwards from then.
From the moment the first look was released, Venkatesh looked like an apt replacement for the lead role and the audience started dreaming of the theatrical release of the movie. The movie was getting prepared for a theatrical release on 14 May but was left stranded because of the pandemic.

Amidst the increasing Corona cases, the production house decided to release the movie directly on OTT. The official Twitter handle of the Suresh Productions announced with a fresh tweet which read, “Humble farmer. Loving father. Devoted husband. How far will he go to protect his family? Meet #NarappaOnPrime, July 20. @PrimeVideoIN ”.
Though the movie hitting the screens is a good result, the audience hoped for a grand theatrical release. The released trailer stirred a lot of excitement among the fans with the kind of mass attributes it has in it. Understandably, there is a notable disappointment regarding the OTT release of the movie among the audience.
Narappa release date
The movie is set to be premiered on 20th July, starting at 12 am but the sources confirm that the movie would be made available online from 10 PM of 19th July. Let’s put it behind the platform and just be excited that the power-packed film will entertain us sooner.
