The show based on the novel by Nancy Mitford follows two best friends Fanny and Linda. They have complete contrary personalities but are in the quest of love which could culminate into marriage.

The two friends make different choices in life, but the political divisions in the nation get into personal lives and make them question themselves about love, freedom, sex and the intricate mysteries of the Human Heart.

Now there are two important aspects that we need to highlight. First, that the show is not officially renewed for the second season as of now. Second, the official announcement isn’t with us yet.

Secondly, the odds of the show getting renewed are high and there are multiple reasons for it. The novel on which the show is based is a trilogy, and so it’s not the right time to leave Linda and Fanny behind.

Even Lily James who played Linda, says the character Linda gave her the room to explore herself. She said she would love to be her more. Also, the miniseries has been able to build the right amount of frenzy and fan base. This impelled the creators to renew the season.
