Darbar is a Tamil language action thriller film written and directed by AR Murugadoss. The film starring Rajinikanth and Nayanthara in lead pair. Sunil Shetty is seen playing a negative role in the film. The film also stars Nivetha Thomas, Prateik Babbar, Jatin Sarna, Nawab Shah, Dalip Tahil and a few others.
Rajinikanth is playing the role of a cop which is seen in the trailer of the film. The film was edited by A.Sreekar Prasad and the cinematographer of the film is Santosh Sivan. The music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander who is well known for his work in various Tamil and Telugu films. The film was produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banners of Lyca Productions.
