Eligibility for SBI PO 2021:
The eligibility criteria for SBI PO states the following and all of them must be met.
- Nationality
- Age Limit
- Education Qualification
Nationality
- The candidate applying for the post of PO must hold the citizenship of India.
- A subject of Bhutan or Nepal.
- A refugee from Tibet who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 for permanent settlement.
- An Indian origin person migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi willing to permanently settle in India.
Important note: Candidates subject to categories 2, 3, and 4 must have an eligibility certificate issued by the government of India.
Education Qualification
- The candidate must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from any university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.
- Final semester/ year pursuing candidates only if they can produce graduation certificates till the interview.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit prescribed by the SBI PO is 21 years but not more than 30 years. However, here are the relaxations given as per the government norms based on the category –
